Drink of the Week for Apr 22nd, 2006: Sour Jack

What we had to say

With hydrocarbon economics dominating the global markets, Drinknation has hit tough times. Our rather poor investment advisors decided that there wasn't much of a future in oil, and tried to corner the market on fruit hats. To their credit, they did manage to accomplish their goal. That's probably because the market for fruit hats consists of that creepy old woman who lives down the street and keeps like 75 cats in her house, and possibly some sort of prop director for an off-Broadway musical. A drunken sloth could corner that market. In any event, we didn't find out what they were doing until it was too late, and as a result, we've been a bit behind on our budgets lately. Where we're from, electrons aren't cheap, so you may have noticed a dearth of Drink of the Weeks in the last while. Fortunately, we got rid of the drunken sloths, and on better advice we moved all of our assets into the burgeoning Haggis liqueur market. It's a fast-growing sector, and we're already showing some returns, so we thought we'd tip you off to it this week. Get in while they're hot, and before the crazy cat lady finds out and ruins everything.
