Drink of the Week for Mar 15th, 2001: Green Iguana Frozen Margarita
What we had to say
This week we've got a twist on the classical margarita. Although similar, the addition of a melon liqueur gives the drink a boost. Adding melon liqueur to your iguana gives it a boost too. We gave some to our iguana, and it went and let the interns out of their cages. Reprimanding it was useless, since it was all hopped up on liqueur and didn't care about anything except more melon. We finally calmed everything down with a few more margaritas and used some Milk Bones to coax the interns back to their cubes. During the melee though, the iguana was somehow promoted to Director of Marketing, so we might be in some trouble if we don't keep the icy goodness flowing.
If you have...ah..."given up" on tequila forever, half the amount and add extra melon. That should supress your reflex.
