Drink of the Week for Mar 17th, 2006: McGuire's Fuzzy Irishman
What we had to say
It's St. Patrick's Day, so get out there and drink something green. We don't care what it is. Dress like a pirate if you have to, whatever it takes. We'd tell you about the history and traditions of St. Patrick's Day, but we're lazy, and we know you have the internet. We also know what you're wearing, and those shoes definitely don't go with that shirt. But we digress. If you go to Google and click on their fancy shamrock logo, you'll get a bunch of webpages about how Patricius the Saint drove a bunch of snakes out of Ireland. If you tuned in for our last email, you'll know exactly where those snakes ended up. That's right... ON A PLANE. All of this is deemed cause for celebration, and we're right there with you. So have fun tonight, and don't forget to call a cab if you need to... we don't want any road-killed pirates.
p.s. We've got an excellent collection of St. Paddy's Day recipes on the site. Hit up http://www.drinknation.com/theme/St._Paddy%2527s_Day
