  so exactly how does a total of 2.5 shots (im assuming roughly a little over 3 oz, because nobody measures in 'shots') supposed to go in a hurricane glass? That wouldn't even fill up a third of it..

  A breakfast favorite in Catalina. Goes great with any meal really, but a superb way to start your day while on vacation!

  the comments saying not how they make them in catalina dont know much about catalina. every restaurant with the exception of the ones that are owned by the same person has their OWN recipe they use for buffalo milk. there is not one set recipe. although others are noticeably better

  Had a Buffalo milk over the weekend and the bartender made it the way Patty described it above. I have been wanting to try this drink for about 11 years and finally had one. Yes, everyone should order one and ENJOY!

  My girlfriend and I saw the bartender in catalina making this drink and they said it was the best so we got hooked. Now we made friends with a bartender in OC and told her the recipe and she makes em perfect.Its like a slice of Catalina all over. Love em!! PS its our special drink now cause we fell in love there :)

  Not the way they make them in Catalina. Got the recipe from a former employee. No fresh banana and you use milk, vodka, cd,cocoa and cd, banana.

  I went to Catalina Island for my birthday and my boyfriend took me to the Buffalo Nickle for dinner and he bought me a buffalo milk and it sure was so good i want other one right now. Catalina Rocks.

  I had one of these when we went to Catalina Isands. The bartendar was sweet enough to give me the recipe! I'm making one right now and can't wait to drink it!
