Ingredients

  • 1/3 oz. Curacao, blue
  • 2/3 oz. Gin
  • several tbsp. Lime Juice
  • 2 oz. Pineapple Juice
  • 8 pieces Strawberries
  • several tbsp. Sugar, powdered

How to Make It

Make sure to freeze the strawberries and chill the gin and blue curacao. It is advised that a test tube should be used to make this drink in, since it adds some scientific fun to this crazy cocktail. If a test tube is not available, which is probably likely, then try using a shot glass, or whatever you feel like. Moisten the rim of the test tube with lime juice, then dip the rim into icing sugar. Add about 1/3 oz. of blue curacao. Tilt the tube with great care, then pour 2/3 oz. of chilled gin down the side of the tube to form a layer above the blue curacao. Purée the strawberries and pineapple juice in a bar blender for 10 seconds, then add the purée on top of the gin. Wisps of strawberry D.N.A. will precipitate down into the drink.
