Old Fashioned Drink Recipe


Mixing Instructions

Add the sugar cube to an old fashioned glass and soak with the bitters and a dash of soda water. Muddle until the sugar is dissolved, then fill the glass with ice and slowly add the whiskey.

It is correct to garnish with a slice of orange, a lemon twist, and two maraschino cherries.

I'm making this with 1 teaspoon of suger in the bottom of the empty old fashioned glass.
Add a 3-4cm long orange peel with the orange side turning upwards. Muddle the peel into the suger (press 2-3 times).
Add 2 drops of angustura bitter
Add 2-3 ice cubes
Add 1 shot of bourbon, stir
Add 2-3 ice cubes
Add 1 shot of bourbon, stir
Add 2-3 ice cubes
Add 1 shot of bourbon, stir

Serve and drink

i was taught to make this drink by muddling the cherry and orange w/ the sugar; then add whiskey, soda water and lastly the ice.
