  I now know why I gained a few pounds while on vacation I cannot tell you how many dirty bananas I really had......but they went down so easy plus the shots of Jack.......yea vacations!

  My husband and I were introduced to the Dirty Banana by a bartender in Puerto Vallarta during a brunch and was instantly hooked on the drink! Good to know the recipe and all the variances - will try several options until we find the one we like! Thanks!

  Y'all are driving me crazy. Here's Sandals recipe Whole milk or half & Half Appleton's dark rum fresh ripe banana Dekuyper Creme de Cocoa (dark) shaved ice & blend If it's dark in color you messed up NO banana liquor NO Tia Maria - NO Kahlua And HELL NO vodka

  We just got back from a 10 day stay @ Sandals Royal Bahamian in the Bahamas. I started off drinking screwdrivers, then I saw all of these people with the same drink, I asked them what it was and they said a "Dirty Banana". My husband tried them and from that point that became our drink from 9 or 10 in the morning until our Butler left at 10 at night. But we sat and watched them make them, there were 2 kinds of rum, simple syrup, ice and a whole banana. Never once did I see them put Milk in them. If so, I wouldn't have been able to drink them. BUT HANDS DOWN THE BEST DRINK I HAVE EVER HAD!!! I just hope that I can find the correct recipe for it, thanks guys.

  Come on folks, just because one bar tender at one resort made something one way; do you really believe that it is the "official" driink of the universe? I've had dirty bananas all over the caribbean and dirty monkkeys all over mexico and central america, and the only common ingredients are rum, coffee liquor and bananas. Rum cream, cream, milk, banana liquor, cocoa liquor, orange liquor, 2 types of rum, and any other addition is up to the bartender. It's kinda like sex. If you don't like it their way, tell them how you want it.

  I had dirty bananas at Jamaica grande hotel they put rum cream banana liquor coffee liquor and dark rum and ice mmmmmm

  Hey Guys..Jason is right but so are the rest of you. Ive been to several Sandals and no two resorts make it the same. a lot of times,no two bartenders at the same resort make it the same.But I have never tasted a bad one.

  My brother in law just made me one of the these. Him and my sister just came back from sandals in Antigua where they got married. Recipe was: 1 shot of Bacardi Gold 1 shot of Khalua Mocha 1 shot of Bailey's Irish Cream original Glass of ice 1 banana Drinks were AWESOME!!

  Visited Sandals Halcyon, St. Lucia. What a wonderful place! The bartenders were a show on their own! ALL the drinks they made were Fantastic! The dirty banana was made with fresh banana and made in the blender.I miss them!
