My variant uses equal parts of tequila and peppermint schnapps over ice. Most first timers describe it as "peppermint flavored jet fuel" but it does not take more than another sip or two to win them over. Cuervo Gold works just fine. Better peppermint schnapps makes a better drink. I usually keep a bottle of mix in the fridge.

The two spirits in this shooter do not make a regular appearance in this style of drink, usually they are reserved for the more graceful cocktails. However, the Silver Bullet rather fancy in comparison to some of the crudely named and constructed shots out there. The gin and Scotch are an interesting mix and, for that final polish, this shot is decorated with a lemon twist. Ingredients: 1 1/4 oz gin 3/4 oz Scotch lemon twist for garnish Preparation: Pour the ingredients in a cocktail shaker filled with ice. Shake well. Strain into a shot glass. Squeeze the lemon twist over the shot the hang it on the rim as a garnish.
