How to Make It

Add the lime first - then the ice - and then pour the vodka over the ice - Some people like to double the vodka shot - but it doesn't work well with this !

The ratio I've seen is five parts vodka to four parts lime cordial. This would give you a stronger, drier (?) vodka lime; but I guess that's a matter of taste. I'd like to know why the recipe prescribes a sequence of ice, lime, vodka. Is the drink stirred? If so, will it matter what sequence the ingredients are added in?
