Ingredients

  • 2 oz. Whiskey, straight grain
  • 2 wedges Lemon
  • 1 Cup Ice
  • 1 tbsp. Sugar Syrup

How to Make It

  1. Muddle mint, sugar and lemon in a cocktail shaker
  2. Add the whisky, fill shaker with ice, and shake for 30 seconds.
  3. Strain into a rocks glass.
  4. Add crushed ice on top and garnish with mint.

The picture is of a smash made with basil and gin instead of whisky and mint.
