Galliano
Glossary:
Galliano is the more common name for the Italian liqueur Liquore Galliano L'Autentico.
Galliano is a sweet herbal liqueur created in 1896 by an Italian distiller. Its vivid yellow color is supposed to symbolize the gold rush of the 1890's. The yellow color is derived from tartrazine, a food additive which has been classified as a potential allergen.
Known herbal ingredients contained in Galliano are anise, ginger, citrus and vanilla.
