Whiskey, Canadian

Glossary:

A type of whiskey that by law must be mashed, distilled and aged for at least three years in Canada in wooden barrels less than 700 L capacity.

Canadian whiskey is often made from rye, and is sometimes synonymous with it (i.e. "rye and coke"). The majority of whiskey produced in Canada is sold in U.S. markets.
