Drink of the Week for Jul 19th, 2001: Raspberry Swirl
What we had to say
This week's drink is less a drink than a very tasty ice cream treat. We were skeptical, since liqueurs and ice cream together always seems like something they'd do in one of those restaurants where not only do they charge you your arm for your tiny meal but they slap you with it when you're done. But it turns out that a couple of our testers thought that this drink "almost-sort-of" tastes like raspberry cheescake, and hey, who doesn't like cheesecake? (Besides cows, since they hate people touching them in funny places just to make cheese. At least, most of them do.)
Make sure to have this recipe on hand next time a bunch of girls crashes your pad for a summer pajama party. What, that doesn't happen to you? Funny, it happens to us all the time....
