Drink of the Week for Jul 12th, 2001: Canadian Cocktail

What we had to say

Enough with the sugary, fruity, pansy drinks. This week we've got about the smoothest whiskey drink you'll ever run across, and it warms you up as it goes down. (And note that it's "about", not "aboot". We canucks never say "aboot", and we curse the day that Due South was conceived, it's only purpose being to perpetuate canucker stereotypes. Although we might still live in igloos, at least we've finally moved to the 24-hour clock, and hey, we just got our first television station!) It's the Canadian Cocktail, and it's not for lightweights.

If you Americans think Canadian beer is good, wait'll you try this. Go easy though, or we'll be pickin' you up off the table faster than you can say "roof".
