It is called a JFK, I bartended for well over 10 years and it was always served as a shot. I don't know the history behind it but, I know it's a very popular shot or used to be and is quite tasty.

I also enjoy this. The person who introduced it to me called it a "JFK". She said that John F. Kennedy was known to drink this combination. Does anyone else have information on this drink?
