Drink of the Week for Jul 30th, 2004: Harvest Moon

What we had to say

In another ground-breaking scientific experiment, Drinknation HQ sent some of our editorial staff to the big blue Pacific this week, complete with surfboards. On the surface, this doesn't seem all that sciency, but some of you may remember that our editorial staff consists solely of monkeys. This has several distinct advantages, including low wages, and intelligence as good or better than most national newspaper staff in similar positions. So what were the results of the experiment? Why, sea monkeys of course.

Ha ha! We sure set you up for that one. Bad jokes aside, our experiment was a dismal failure. We just ended up with broken surfboards and a bunch of wet, stinky monkeys. All except for Gimpy, who somehow rode fakie on a monster tube and escaped to Narrabeen. We're still trying to figure that one out. None of this has anything to do with this week's drink of course, but we did get a great new idea for our manufacturing department. "Ocean Breeze" Monkey Shampoo, for all your monkey-cleaning needs! It smells exactly like a freshly dry-cleaned whale. We'll let you know when it's in a store near you. In the meantime, Gimpy left this week's recipe on a sticky note in his cubicle before he left.
