I work at a michigan country club and make this drink for members with (at their request) grape Gatorade & Vernor's, which is a regional favorite ginger ale. The color is a deep bluey-purple & very pretty. Haven't tried it yet!

No Sprite. Drink originates from Pine Valley and is made only with ginger ale.

Use grape concentrate much better and you get the correct clear-purple color. And def use Ginger ale. I make this drink daily at work.

I had 2 LARGE cups of this "at the turn" while playing golf last week. ...good thing...the back-nine was worse than the front-nine, but the drinks made it all better! (...or was it that the drinks is what made it worse...) Either way - what a great drink!

Seems to be a country club drink, but boy is it good. A friend introduced it to me and I love it for summer.
